With over 23 years of experience in radio, digital and social media, Laurel Keith spent 16 years as the SVP/CFO of Ad Results Advertising in Houston Texas, once the largest purchaser of “live endorsement radio” commercials in the country. While at Ad Results she had been responsible for the strategy, negotiation and placement of hundreds of millions of ad dollars. Her clients included one of the largest USA Telecom companies, well known on-line retailers, internet start- ups, local home improvement services, a US Top pet food supplier, major manufacturing companies, national franchised restaurants and QSR’s, a national grocery chain and many professional services, both brick and mortar and on line. Keith created systems designed to better the media/talent selection, the product/service introduction and the copy coaching processes, all driving efficiency, clarity and determination of greater results. She also built models of probability and success based on several key factors, particular to live endorsements, based on both theoretical and empirical data. Since leaving Ad Results, Keith has continued to consult with other media companies in both radio and podcasting opportunities. Most recently Keith helped launch a successful multi market local campaign for a major home security client and created new podcasting space for a variety of on line retail and subscription companies. Working at both the national and local market level Keith has worked in over 200 of the country’s media markets, more than 800 radio stations and on-air personalities, with most every major syndicated radio personality, nearly all radio and podcasting companies, sales, staff and management. She was one of the first persons to trial live ads with Sirius//XM companies and, what was then, a burgeoning arena of podcasting.
